Toyboy & Robin

I first caught wind of this London based duo on the Eton Messy channel with 'No More Sunshine' last summer. From there things dominoed and I found myself a new obsession. They effortlessly combine elements of house and bass music evocative of that magnetic 'future bass' sound, mixing in dulcet R&B  vocals. 'In Need' is another favourite of mine but their remix of Ellie Goulding's 'Figure 8' is probably the most addictive. I expect huge things from these fellas in 2013.

Polkadot

Polkadot aka Sam Bevan is yet another super-young, and super-talented producer to be filed next to the likes of Karma Kid, Bondax and Applebottom. Aged 18 and hailing from Wolverhampton, we're seriously excited about this youngster and it's easy to see why after you've listened to the first 30 seconds of 'Wasn't Like That' from MadTech Records.

MLLNDLLR (Karma Kid Remix) - Sweater Beats

Becca and I first fell in love with this 18 year old producer from Derbyshire when we heard 'It's Always' at the beginning of last summer and has been channelling an electronic future bass sound similar to that of Disclosure and Bondax, albeit with his own unique twist. This remix of a Sweater Beats tune is so reminiscent of that old school house/garage vibe.
